Alice Dun

Alice A. Dun, 87, of Chippewa Falls, town of Eagle Point, died Monday, October 9, 2017 at her home while under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice.

She was born March 20, 1930 in Chester, New Jersey, the daughter of Dora (Hallenback) and Angus Dun. She grew up in New Jersey and at the age of 20, moved to the Chicago area, where she started her own business. Following her retirement in 1990, she moved to Chippewa Falls.

Alice was a talented artist with a creative spirit.

She will be dearly missed by her two sons, Jared Dewey of Chippewa Falls, David (Kathy) Dewey of Wilmette, IL; a sister, Delores Carvatt of New Jersey; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Devon Dewey; and a brother, Angus Dun.

As per Alice’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.
