Anita Roder

Anita M. Roder, 79, of Chippewa Falls, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Dove Healthcare in Eau Claire.

She was born March 23, 1931 in Cornell to Madeline (Manley) and Charles Downer. She grew up in Cornell and graduated from Cornell High School in 1949.

Anita married Irvin Roder on June 24, 1950 in Chippewa Falls. She worked as a secretary at Cornell High School for the draft service and Thaler Oil in Chippewa Falls. They moved to Texas in 1988 where she
worked as a camp facilitator at the Girl Scout Camp, Steven's Ranch. They moved back to Chippewa Falls in 1998.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls.
