Beverly Church

Beverly Church, 75, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully at the Chippewa Manor on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.

Beverly was born on October 28, 1942, in Reedsburg, WI, to Everett and Elsie (Gerhke) Young. She received her secondary education degree, graduating from UW-Whitewater and taught High School English in Eau Claire and Freedom, WI. She also was employed at JoAnn Fabrics in Appleton, WI and as an Account Processor at VVH & Associates in Little Chute, WI.

Beverly was a kind and loving, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed watching sports, especially her grandchildren. Beverly enjoyed needlepoint, reading, going to the casino and drinking old fashioneds. Most of all, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Church; daughter, Becky (Jeff) Brandt and their children, Ryan and Jenna from Maple Grove, MN; daughter, Barb and her children, Kaylee, Isaac, Addison, Austin and Matthew, all of Chippewa Falls; brother, LeRoy (Jan) Young of West Bend, WI; brother-in-law, Rick (Myong) Church of Kansas City, MO; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her in-laws, Ken and Arf Church.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018, at Central Lutheran Church, 28 E. Columbia St, Chippewa Falls, with Rev. Aaron Sturgis officiating. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family that will be donated to a charity dear to Beverly’s heart.
