Beverly Ann Tucker-Mattingly

Beverly Ann Tucker-Mattingly, 83, of Chippewa Falls, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 9, 2025, under the care of St. Croix Hospice.

Beverly was born on Friday, November 28, 1941 in Boyd, WI to Raymond and Amelia (Wundrow) Geist. She graduated from Stanley High School with the class of 1959. Beverly married Basil Tucker in 1959; together along with her brother-in-law, Jerry Tucker, they owned and operated Tucker Automotive in Palatine, IL. Basil preceded her in death on March 9, 2000. On October 28, 2009, Beverly remarried to John “Jack” Mattingly in Mt. Prospect, IL at St. Edna’s Catholic Church. Beverly enjoyed traveling, and loved to be social with friends and family.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Amelia Geist; her first husband, Basil Tucker; her siblings, Nancy Brocar, Timothy Geist, and Barbara Geist as an infant.

She is survived by her loving husband, John “Jack” Mattingly of Chippewa Falls, WI; her siblings, Judy (Ronald) Romanowski of Gilman, WI, Donna Campbell of New Holstein, Bernard Geist of Holcombe, WI, Deborah (Rod) Porath of Loyal, WI, Mary (Damas) Morgal of Cadott, WI, Dale (Marie) Geist of Whitefish, MT, Vernon (Bonnie) Geist of Countryside, IL, Mark Geist of Stanley, WI, Rick Geist of Cornell, WI., Kathy Dunlevy, and Jacquelyn (Daniel) Glander of Luxemburg, WI; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia St., Chippewa Falls.

A Memorial Service for Beverly will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Chippewa Falls, with a visitation one hour prior to mass at church.
