Bruce A. Bauman

Bruce Bauman, 63, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.

On September 6, 1962, Bruce was born to Lyle and Deloris (Weinke) Bauman, in Merrill, WI. Bruce graduated from Merrill High School in 1981 and went on to earn a Computer Programming degree from North Central Technical Institute.

Bruce and Jennifer were married in 1997, beginning a loving partnership that lasted throughout his life. Over the years, Bruce enjoyed attending NASCAR races, drag racing snowmobiles with his brother, camping, and tackling home projects. One of his greatest joys was supporting his daughter Samantha’s sports teams, whether as a parent helper or a coach.

A lifelong music lover, Bruce attended more than 30 rock concerts over the years. The lyric “See You on the Other Side” by Ozzy Osbourne held special meaning for him.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Jennifer; daughter, Samantha (Jon) Curtis; son, Tommy Lipke-Bauman; grandchildren, Aubrey & Asher Curtis and Danica & Amiya Lipke; brother, Rob (Tara) Bauman; mother, Deloris Bauman; along with many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle.

The Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ, 903 E. 2nd St., Merrill WI, 54452, with a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Following the service, all are invited to join the family for a Celebration of life and a time of sharing at The Dugout, 2472 Co Rd K, Merrill, WI 54452.
