Carol Joan Kramer

Carol J. Kramer, 89, of Chippewa Falls, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. 

Carol was born November 05, 1934, in Chippewa Falls, to Ernest and Ruth (Morris) Krause. She graduated from Chi-Hi in 1952 and remained part of her hometown community for the rest of her life. 

A hard worker, everyone knew Carol to go through life with a smile. Joking and a sense of humor carried her through life’s ups and downs. Carol cherished her community, especially the dear friends made through her involvement at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. Carol lived for her grandchildren, and found great joy in being part of their lives. 

Carol is survived by her children, Steven Kramer, Jim (Nina) Kramer, Karen Kramer, and Pamela Kramer; grandchildren, Erika Kramer, Emily (Devin Kilmer) Kramer, and Michael Kramer; nieces and nephews, especially Greg and Donna Krause, Tami and Bill Mathison, and Kathie and John DiNovella; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn, Earl and Mary, Barbara and Marty, and Gerald and Marion; and many loving relatives and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ruth; and former husband, Carl Kramer. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
