Clifford Grohn

Clifford K. Grohn, 81, of Eau Claire, formerly of Chippewa Falls, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011 at his home.

He was born August 21, 1929 in Eau Claire to Christine Caroline (Zempel) and Walter William Martin Grohn. He graduated from Cadott High School and following high school, attended college at UW-River Falls.

He served in the U.S Air Force from 1949-1950.

Cliff married Betty Pilgrim and together had four children.

He worked as a farmer at the Chippewa County Farm in Chippewa Falls for many years until his retirement.

Clifford married Phyllis M. Wolslegel on May 14, 1988. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of St. Matthew in Eau Claire and a former member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls.
