Connie Rose, 80, of Eau Claire, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Health System Critical Care Unit in Eau Claire with family by her side.
She was born July 15, 1946, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Michael and Mary (Jackering) Dupey Sr. She attended Holy Ghost Grade School and graduated from McDonell Central High School.
Connie married Eilert “Dave” Jenson in 1964, and they had three children. They later divorced.
She worked for Visiting Angels Home Care and a variety of home care jobs. Connie enjoyed cooking and baking, playing cards, reading, singing in the choir, and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed her life and will be dearly missed.
Connie resided at Good Shepherd Apartments in Eau Claire where she met many new friends that she cherished along with finding a great place to call “home.”
Survivors include two sons, Stephen (Andrea) Jenson and Brian Jenson; one brother, David (Janice) Dupey; and four grandchildren, Reece, Seth, Trevor, and Drew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel Jenson; six brothers, James, Robert, Michael, Paul and twins, Leo and Louis; four sisters, Frances Haverly, Helen Kouba, Patricia Herrmann, and Mary Austin.
The family would like to thank the staff at Oak Leaf Surgical Center and Mayo Critical Care for their compassion, and the quality of care that Connie and her family received.
A private family graveside service will be held at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cadott.
