Cynthia A. Schulz, age 85, of Chippewa Falls, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Aggie’s Country Living in the town of Eagle Point, surrounded by family and under the care of St. Croix Hospice.
She was born to Albert and Viola (Hanson) Smith on January 16, 1940, in Eau Claire.
On June 20, 1959, she married Leo Schulz at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls.
For 43 years Cindy drove school bus for Chippewa Yellow Bus Company. In her spare time, Cindy loved gardening, crafting, a good card game and especially going to flea markets, antiquing, and casino trips with Leo.
Cindy is survived by her daughters, Lynn Schulz of Chippewa Falls and Lisa (Peter) Martin of Holmen, WI; grandchildren, Mathias (Courtney) Martin, Allison (Kyle) Conrath, Ross Martin, Noah Mutter-Schulz, and Elijah (Molly) Mutter; great-grandchildren, Bronson Martin, Gray and Miles Conrath, and Richie and Leo Mutter; brother, Quentin (Linda) Smith; sister, Marji (Art) Hendel; sisters-in-law, Catherine Smith and Ruth “Bunny” Beaudette; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo in 2024; son, Gregory Schulz;
brothers, Cedric Smith and Lloyd (Lorraine) Smith; and sister, Kathryn (Vernon) Thalacker.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 19 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Pastor Vincent Thomas officiating. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m.
Entombment will be at the Chapel of Hope Mausoleum, Chippewa Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Aggie’s Country Living, 14135 150th Ave., Bloomer, WI 54724.
