Dale R. Neumann

Dale R. Neumann, 93, of Chippewa Falls, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

He was born November 9, 1930, in Chippewa Falls to Arthur and Selma (Gunther) Neumann. 

Following high school he served in the U.S. Army.

Dale attended UW-Eau Claire and UW- Madison to obtain his bachelor’s degree in education.  After that he received his master’s degree from The University of Minnesota. He was a professor of speech-language at The University of Northern Iowa.

Dale is survived by his sister, Darlene Wagers of Chippewa Falls; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including his good friend Dorman Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Donald Neumann.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 22, 2023, at The Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spooner with Pastor Alan Dunham officiating.
