David M. Pizzella

David M. Pizzella, 59, of River Falls, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at The Falls Comforts of Home in River Falls.

He was born February 4, 1967, in Roseville, MN and was a long-time resident of the Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls area. His hobbies included hockey and baseball, electronic games, and listening to vinyl records.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald M. Pizzella Sr. and Elaine M. (Mahr) Zimmerman.

David is survived by his two sisters, Donna Brown of Colfax and Deanne Shaw of Owatonna, MN; brothers, Donald M. (Shelly) Pizzella Jr. of Oakdale, MN and Dennis (Nancy) Pizzella of Jordan, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 18 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Aaron Sturgis officiating.

Following the service, a lunch reception will be held at Rally Caps Sports Bar, 465 Chippewa Mall Dr, Chippewa Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Chippewa Humane Association.
