Debra Karker

Debra Karker, 73, of Chippewa Falls died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at home.

She was born July 1, 1952, in Marshfield to Vernice and Janet (Lange) Karker. 

Debra was a dedicated teacher and taught for many years at Stillson and Halmstad Elementary Schools in Chippewa Falls. 

Debra is survived by her mother, Janet; brother, James (Mary) Karker of Eau Claire; nieces and nephews, Paul Karker (Glenna Mowry), Rachel (Derek) Petersen, and Bethany Karker; great-nephews, Marshall and Lane Petersen; her significant other, Mike Geram; and many other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Vern. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
