Debra K. Nandory

Debra (Deb) K. Nandory, 71, of Chippewa Falls, passed away on August 8, 2025, at her home.

Deb was born on April 16, 1954, in Chippewa Falls to John and Cecilia (Hayes) Barsamian. She graduated with the Chippewa Falls High School class of 1972. She spent countless hours boating on Cornell Lake with her family while growing up,

On March 31, 1973, Deb married William Nandory at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, and together they welcomed three children, Amy, Jeremy, and Annie. They would grow to see their 47th anniversary before separating.

In her younger years, Deb loved to play softball. For her, it was less about the competition and more about the joy of being with friends. She also loved spending time with her mom; they would visit for hours while eating homemade “duplers” and goulash, telling stories and sharing favorite memories. Deb also loved the holidays, from Halloween to Christmas. Her home radiated holiday cheer, with every corner filled with festive touches. She enjoyed sharing that time with her family. Most of all, Deb loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Deb is survived by her children, Amy (Aaron) Rothbauer of Chippewa Falls, Jeremy (Erin) Nandory of Greenleaf, and Annie Nandory (Jake Elbert) of Chippewa Falls; her grandchildren, Santana, McKenna, Madeline, and River; her siblings, Larry Barsamian, Christine Bell, Cynthia Barsamian, Kimberly Powers, and Mary Matuszak; and her ex-husband, William Nandory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Cecilia Barsamian; and her siblings, Jacqueline Cigan, Leslie Barsamian, and Elizabeth Schmidt.

A private family graveside service will take place at Hope Catholic Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
