Donald Heidtke

He was born April 18, 1947 in Chippewa Falls to Doris (King) and Clyde Heidtke. He grew up in Chippewa Falls and graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1965. He joined the U.S. Army Wisc. National Guard in 1965 until 1978.

Don married Sandra Ryan on September 17, 1966 in Chippewa Falls.

He worked at the Chippewa Falls Water Dept. for 30 years, retiring in July 2003. He enjoyed to fish it was his greatest joy and he also liked to go on hunting trips out West.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy; a daughter, Amy (Kevin) Sprague of Chippewa Falls; a sister, Nancy Heidtke of Chippewa Falls; three brothers, Dennis (Karen) Heidtke, Duane Heidtke all of Chippewa Falls, Rick (Janet) Heidtke of Cadott; a grandson, Jordan Sprague; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
