Doris J. Campeau, 88, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully at Serving Hands Adult Home in Chippewa Falls, on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. She was born to Walter & Thora (Thompson) Wohlbier, on September 25, 1928, in Chippewa Falls.

Doris graduated from Chippewa High School. She married Albert Campeau in 1958 at Central Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls. Doris and Albert owned and operated Albert's Hearing Aid in Eau Claire until his death in 1999. She then worked at Feed My People until her retirement. Doris enjoyed bible study, painting and puzzles. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, the Eastern Star and the VFW, Ladies Auxiliary.

Doris is survived by her step-son, Curt (Linda) Campeau; nieces and nephews, Joan (John) Wood, Sandy (Dean) Mattison, Jim (Connie) Clark, Sue (Larry) Briski, Nancy (Dan) Briski, Karen (Mark) Robinson, Sarah Schindler, Linda (John) Paquette, Hans Wohlbier, John (Piper) Wohlbier, Todd (Denise) Wohlbier, and Kelly Wohlbier; sisters-in-law, Ellie Wohlbier and Kay Wohlbier; along with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; brothers, Walter Wohlbier Jr., Richard (Judy) Wohlbier, Carl Wohlbier; sisters, Charlotte (Don) Severson and Ethel (Bill) Clark; niece, Kristen Winebrenner; nephews, Eric Wohlbier, and Walter Wohlbier III.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1300 Mansfield St., Chippewa Falls, with Rev. Aaron Sturgis officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.

The family would like to thank St. Joseph's Hospice Staff and Randy Sheahan for all their kind and compassionate care given to Doris.
