Doris Roycraft

Doris Amy Roycraft, 86, of 1487 County Hwy K, Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010 at Chippewa Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation in Chippewa Falls.

She was born Oct. 19, 1923 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Rachel (Carr) and Joseph Withee Dawe. She was raised in Chippewa Falls and graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1941.

Doris married Howard "Bud" Roycraft on April 3, 1943 at the Church of Christ in Chippewa Falls. After their marriage they lived in Lafayette where they also farmed. She worked at the Northern Center as an aide until her retirement.
