Duane “Duker” Robert LeDuc was born to Henry and Rose (Meyer) LeDuc on August 18, 1939, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Duane passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, in his home surrounded by his family.
He graduated from McDonell High School with the class of 1957. Duane served in the National Guard, in the motor pool with the rank of SP4 from 1956 to1962. He Married Betty Ann (Sydejko) on May 25, 1963, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
Duane spent his entire life in the automotive and transportation industry. He owned and operated LeDuc Bus Company and LeDuc Sales and Service for 48 years until he retired. Duane and Betty Ann enjoyed traveling together, especially to South Padre Texas and Mexico.
In his free time Duane loved going to car auctions and camping at Summer Haven Resort in Chetek. Duane and Betty Ann spent 49 years fishing, boating, golfing, and having endless nights spent round the campfire with all of their favorite people.
Duane is survived by his wife, Betty Ann; children, Deb Erickson, Mike (Chrissy) and JR (Jen) LeDuc. Duane is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Bailey (John) Hanson, Daniel (Kirstyn) LeDuc, Tyler (Haley) Erickson, Bennett LeDuc, Zach LeDuc, Henry Erickson, Lexi (Brandon) LeDuc, Sydney (Landon) LeDuc; and his great-grandchildren, Sean Hanson-Brown, Grayson and Tate LeDuc, Brance and Dennis Sloniker.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roland and LaVerne LeDuc; sisters, Patsy Bowe and Charlotte Butler; and son-in-law, Mark Erickson.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia St., Chippewa Falls, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. The interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Chippewa Falls, with Military Honors conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.
