Eleanor E. "Ellie" Kressin, 93, of Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Chippewa Manor in Chippewa Falls.

Eleanor was born June 25, 1922 in St. Paul, MN to Elizabeth (Welner) and Adam Fliehr.

On November 12, 1941, she married Leon Kressin at St. Charles Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. They resided in Chippewa Falls where Eleanor worked as a teacher's aide at Hillcrest Elementary School for over 20 years.

She is survived by her son, Larry (Tammy) Kressin of Chippewa Falls; a grandson, Greg (Michelle) Kressin; two great-grandsons, Jace and Trevin Kressin, all of Menomonie; siblings, Sandra Mills and Donald Fliehr, both of Modesto, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leon on August 28, 2003; and two siblings, Leona Fliehr and Robert Fliehr.

A committal service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 27 at Hope Mausoleum in Chippewa Falls with Fr. Ed Shuttleworth of St. Charles Borromeo, officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls.
