Franklin J. "Frank" Heflen, 34, of Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, July 1, 2017.

He was born September 8, 1982 in Racine to LuAnn (Woodward) and Glen Heflen. He moved to Chippewa Falls in 1999, and was currently working at Premium Waters as a forklift operator.

Frank enjoyed working on cars and was loving and family-oriented. He was a gentle giant and will be remembered for his big smile and gentle nature.

He will be dearly missed by his mother, LuAnn (Ron) Hale of Chippewa Falls; his father, Glen (Mary) Heflen of Racine; siblings, Brian (Lisa) Woodward of Wind Lake, Al-Karim Ali of Chippewa Falls, Sarah Ali of Eau Claire, Roni and R.J. Hale, both of Chippewa Falls; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 8 at Valley Vineyard Church in Chippewa Falls, with the Rev. Michael Houle officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
