Georgiana Martin

Georgiana M. Martin, 64, of 3602 Wildon St., Eau Claire, died Sunday afternoon, May 9, 2010 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with acute leukemia .

She was born August 18, 1945 in Iron Mountain, Michigan the daughter of Adele (DeNuzio) and Walter Allard. She was raised in Eau Claire where she graduated from North High School in 1963.

Georgiana married Robert "Bob" Martin on August 9, 1965 in Watertown, S.D. They resided in Chippewa Falls until moving to Eau Claire in 1979. She was employed as a beautician for several years until the birth of her two daughters, then she became a full-time mom.
