Jane S. Rowe, 68, of Fall Creek, formerly of Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Jane was born on January 17, 1948 in Chippewa Falls, WI to Kenneth and Pauline (Snow) Melville. She grew up in rural Chippewa Falls and graduated from Cadott High School.

On June 27, 1970 she married Thomas Rowe at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. While their children were little, Jane stayed home to care for them. She later went back to school to get her nursing assistant degree and worked at Lakeside Nursing Home and St. Joseph's Hospital. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, spending time with her kids and grandkids, camping, gardening, and trips to the casino.

Jane is survived by her husband of 45 years, Tom; children, Scott Rowe of Fall Creek and Kristi (Jeff) Habermaier of Chanhassen, MN; grandchildren, Jazmee (fianc Zach) Rowe, Brooke, Storm, and Cyclone Rowe, Conner Epstein, and Lucy and Max Habermaier; brother, Jim (Marilyn) Melville of Eagan, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and her dear dog, Muffin and cat, Pumpkin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Elsie Melville.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 25 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Columbia St.,Chippewa Falls. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
