Joseph Schwetz

Joseph W. "Bud" Schwetz, 87, of 13723 199th St., Jim Falls, town of Anson, died peacefully Friday, March 18, 2011 at home, surrounded by his family.

He was born May 10, 1923 in the town of Anson to Cora (Ellenson) and Joseph Schwetz and was raised in the town of Anson and the town of Eagle Point. He attended Chippewa Falls Schools.

Bud served in the U.S. Army during WW II.

Joe married Marjorie E. Douglas on Sept. 9, 1947 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls and has resided in Jim Falls since that time. Marjorie preceded him in death on Nov. 3, 1992. He married Bernice Schichel on July 11, 1997.

He was employed as a milk truck driver for Ed LaNou, Fanetti Trucking and owned an auto repair business in Jim Falls with his brother, Walt and then was employed at the Northern Center where he retired after 19 years of service.
