Judge Stafford

Judge Richard H. "Dick" Stafford, 83, of 804 W. Columbia St., Chippewa Falls, died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Our House Memory Care in Chippewa Falls.

He was born April 13, 1928 in Chippewa Falls the son of Mildred (Anderson) and Harold Stafford. He was a life-long resident of Chippewa Falls.

He attended Chippewa Falls Elementary Schools and graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1946. He graduated from the UW-Madison in 1950 and then UW-Madison Law School in 1953.

Dick served in the US Army Signal Corps from 1953-1955, where he always claimed to have served on the Eastern and Western Fronts
