Judith “Judy” Ann Taylor lost her short battle with pancreatic cancer surrounded by family on December 12, 2023.
Judy was born on August 19, 1946, in Marshall, MN. Judy moved to the big city of Eau Claire right out of high school where she became an avid Wisconsin sports fan. Judy always enjoyed teasing family members who are Vikings fans, you know who you are.
After retiring from Ambassador Steel, Judy traveled the United States with her husband, Art. She also enjoyed baking for family and friends. Judy was a very loving and caring person and that extended to her furry friends. She was always quick with a treat out of her purse for her canine friends, especially her grand-doggie, Danner.
Judy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Arthur; daughter, Dawn (Dave Nilles) Wills; sister, Brenda (Steve) Mikel; brother, James Pape; brother in-law, Mike (Janelle) Taylor, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice Pape Apger and La Verdos Pape; brothers, Timothy and Robert; sister, Tammara; and husband, Robert Wills.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Bloomer City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Chippewa Humane Society.
