Keith A. Jahns

Keith A. “Chauncey” Jahns, 66, of Chippewa Falls, town of Lafayette, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Health System, Eau Claire.

He was born March 4, 1960, in Chippewa Falls to Albert and Irene (Lunderville) Jahns. He grew up in Chippewa Falls where he also attended school.

Keith began his career in the warehouse at Kell Container in Chippewa Falls and later became a truck driver for the company. He retired in 2019, after more than 40 years of service due to health issues.

Keith enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, pitching horseshoes at Lawler’s, bowling at Falls Bowl, and golfing at Ojibwa. He also found joy in hopping on his Harley and cruising around. He cherished the company of his kids, grandkids, friends and neighbors throughout the years.

He will be dearly missed by his three children, Justin Jahns of Eau Claire, Amanda (Kyle) Eastling of Ellsworth, Brittany (Shane) Larson of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Olivia, Caden, Gracie, Nora, Ryleigh, Waelen and Leni.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Irene, and his brother, Jeff Colins.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with the Rev. Aaron Sturgis officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
