Kim Nelson, who blessed us with her presence for 61 wonderful years, peacefully passed from this world at home with her family by her side in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, on December 30, 2023. Born on January 6, 1962, Kim was a beacon of love, a devoted mother, an extraordinary grandmother, and an industrious soul.
Kim's radiant spirit effortlessly forged connections with all who crossed her path. Her ability to cultivate friendships was truly remarkable, a testament to the warmth and kindness that defined her essence.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Robert, Paul, Tom, and Steve; sister, Karen; daughter, Maria, and grandchild, Audi; daughter, Courtney, and grandchildren, Riley, Zeva, and Asher; son, David Jr., and grandchild, Dani; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Beyond her familial bonds, Kim found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Fishing, road trips, singing, culinary pursuits, thrift sale excursions, and her enchanting collection of angels were among her many passions. Kim approached life with an infectious zest, embracing each moment with gratitude and enthusiasm.
The family will announce a Celebration of Life in honor of Kim at a later date, where loved ones will gather to pay tribute to a woman whose love and care touched the lives of all fortunate enough to know her. In our hearts, Kim's love and legacy endure, a testament to the extraordinary person she was and the profound impact she had on those around her.
