Kyle Livangood

Kyle B. Livangood, 61, of Chippewa Falls, formerly of Sparta, died Thursday, January 28, 2016.

He was born February 25, 1954 in Sparta to Gordon and Emily (Woodworth) Livangood. He went to school in a one-room schoolhouse in Jenkins Valley. When that school closed, he attended school in Cataract and then at Sparta High School.

Kyle loved all of his animals and loved riding his horse, Ashes.

Kyle held many small jobs and enjoyed going to church. He passed away in a group home after a long battle with Parkinson's.

He is survived by his mother, Emily (Woodworth) Livangood; sister, Lorie (Richard) Dale of Sparta; his nieces and nephew, Charlene, Danielle, and Quentin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon; and his grandparents, Gladys and Floyd Livangood, and Ella and Wallace Woodworth.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 6 at Cataract United Methodist Church with Pastor Robbie Nowicki officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Cataract Cemetery in Cataract.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
