Lannette L. Vaudreuil

Lannette Lee Vaudreuil, 59, of Colfax, WI passed away on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. Lannette fought a courageous year-long battle with oral squamous cell cancer.

She was born on July 29, 1966 to Thomas and Ann (Purdeu) Nunke in Racine, WI. She graduated from Chi-Hi with the class of 1984 and left for her Army career. During her service years she was married and had one daughter, Savannah Rae. She eventually received her bachelor’s degree from UW Stout, which she was very proud of. This degree led her into a career with United Healthcare for 20 years.

She later met, and married Rick Vaudreuil on October 10, 1997, and together they shared a loving blended family. Lannette loved to read, watch movies, cruise, play games and travel. She was especially fond of cooking and food shows.

Lannette is survived by her husband, Rick Vaudreuil; daughter, Savannah York; stepsons, Branden and Dustin Vaudreuil; five grandchildren, Ryan, Jeremiah, Noah, Arianna and Lucas; mother, Ann Purdeu; sister, Glenda (Scott) Lyons; half-sister, Shelene Nunke; father-in-law, Dale (Ruth) Vaudreuil; sister-in-law, Nanette (Andy) Mayberry; and brother-in-law, William (Nitiya) Vaudreuil; along with several nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her father Thomas Nunke.

Funeral services for Lannette will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 12:00PM at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls. Visitation will start at 10:30AM until the time of service. Lannette will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery with full military honors.
