Leila Geer

Leila Alice Geer, 86, passed away July 25th, 2010 at Our Lady of Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born March 8, 1924 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Charlotte Alice (Lowe) and Henry Addison Zerbach . She grew up in the Holcombe and Jim Falls areas and resided in Chippewa Falls for many years until she moved to Boyd in 2008 to live with her daughter. On March 11, 1944 she married Elmer Albert Stelzer, son of Henry John and Josephine Marie (Spetta) Stelzer of Cadott. That marriage ended in divorce and on February 11, 1961 Leila married Walter Geer son of Elmer Ellery and Elisa Gurine (Gunderson) Geer of Cornell.
