Lori M. Agnew, 61, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully at home on Saturday, November 29, 2025, surrounded by family while under the care of Heartland Hospice.
She was born on August 28, 1964, in Chippewa Falls to Frank and Germaine (Rhyner) Agnew. She lived a life defined by hard work and deep love for her family. For more than 20 years she built a respected career as a buyer and purchaser for TTM Technologies in Chippewa Falls. She was known for her integrity, reliability, and strong work ethics.
She was a woman whose world revolved around her grandchildren. There wasn’t a game, school program, birthday, or milestone too small for her to celebrate. From the sidelines of their athletic events to the front row of their biggest moments, she showed up – every single time. She was the biggest cheerleader, beaming with pride at every accomplishment, whether it was a tiny victory or a life-changing achievement.
She shared every joy with her husband, James, creating memories built on devotion, fun, and togetherness. One of her favorite sayings, “blood is always thicker than water,” guided the way she lived – fiercely loyal, endlessly supportive, and wholeheartedly dedicated to her family. Her presence, her cheers, her laugh, and her unwavering love will forever echo in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Some of her happiest days were spent camping or simply being anywhere that brought together the people she loved most, James by her side, her girls and spouses, and of course all the grandkids filling the space with laughter. Those were her favorite places to be, surrounded by family, love, and the moments that made life feel full.
Lori is survived by her husband, James Ottum; daughters, Anne Cain, Stephanie (Eric) Stelter, Ashley Cain, Stacey (Kevin) Lambrecht; bonus son, Jacob (John) Gaier-Welch all of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Landon Lambrecht, Addison Stelter, Kylie Timms, Arnold Stelter, Leighton Lambrecht, and Vinny Thom; brother, Kim (Char) Agnew; sister, Chela (Dennis) Scheidler; sister-in-law, LuAnn Agnew; mother-in-law, Sandy Ottum; father-in-law, Mike (Jenni) Ottum; brother-in-law, Michael Ottum; sister-in-law, Kristen (Jeremy) Schlosser; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Brent Agnew; and sister, Brenda (Robert) Gaier.
