Luella Benson

Luella M. Benson, 92, of Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Chippewa Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation, Chippewa Falls.

She was born Sept. 27, 1918 in the town of LaGrange, Monroe County, Wisconsin to Hazel (Clark) and Alva Robertson. Luella was raised in the Tomah area and graduated from Tomah High School in 1937.

On May 25, 1940, Luella married Carl Benson in Waukon, Iowa. The couple moved to the Chippewa Falls area in 1941, where she raised their children and made their home. Carl preceded her in death on July 31, 2001. She had been a resident of the Chippewa Manor for the past 3
