Lynn Ann Bjork, 90, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away on June 8th, 2026, at the Chippewa Manor, after a short illness.
Lynn was born on March 3rd, 1936, to Orin and Gunhild (Jensen) Paulson. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High in 1954 and went on to start a teaching degree at the University of WI, Eau Claire. In 1956, Lynn married Charles Bjork with whom they shared 3 children but later divorced.
Lynn enjoyed cabin time and fishing in Chetek in her earlier years with long-time companion, Richart Eaton. They spent winters in St. Cloud, FL for over 30 years. She is especially remembered for her love of thrifting. Her vehicle would never pass up a garage sale sign, but selling was her biggest passion. She spent over 45 years as a vendor t the Pea Pickin Flea Market in St. Croix Falls, WI, where she made lasting friendships.
Lynn treasured her time with family and friends. She enjoyed her lunch outings with childhood friends, Anna Mae, Jane and Karol, with whom she shared many special memories. She was blessed to have many friends at Heritage Apartments, where she lived, who visited her and provided support, especially Pat, Kim and caregiver and friend, Diane. Lynn’s greatest joy was her grandson, Austin, who brought so much love and happiness to her life. He held a very special place in her heart.
Lynn will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Kyle (Mick) Werdin and Kristine (Doug) Hageness; daughter-in-law, Sharon Bjork; grandson, Austin (Elly) Werdin; step-grandson, Chris (Cassie) Werdin; step-greatgrandchildren, Veda & Callen; future great-granddaughter, due in October; and sister-in-law, Nancy Paulson; along with many other loving family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven Bjork; brothers, William & Peter Paulson; and long-time companion, Richart Eaton.
A celebration of life will be held on August 1, 2026, at the VFW Post 305, 1300 Starr Ave., Eau Claire, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The family would like to thank Mayo Clinic, Chippewa Manor and St. Croix Hospice for the exception care provided to her.
