Maddaline Stevens

Maddaline Marie Stevens, 64, of Chippewa Falls, has entered into the joy of the Lord on December 30, 2017, after a brave battle with cancer.

She was born September 12, 1953 in Chicago, IL to Sam and Georgia (Sanfratello) Paxin. She graduated from Bloom High School, class of 1971. She then earned an Associate’s degree from Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, IL.

On October 25, 1975, Maddaline married Robert L. Stevens Jr. They resided in Chicago Heights until moving to Chippewa Falls in 1986, where they have since resided.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert of Chippewa Falls; four daughters, Gina (Weng) Liew of Kronenwetter, Carla of Chippewa Falls, Keturah “Kitty” (James) Christian of Weston, and Carissa of Chippewa Falls; two sons, Joshua (Cori) of Evansdale, IA, Caleb (Kayla) of Minneapolis, MN; two brothers, Joseph “Gene” (Marie) Pancamo of Glenwood, IL, and Sebastian “Sam” (Tammy) Paxin of Alpharetta, GA; one sister, Francis “Fran” (Larry) Lewis of Kent, WA; and 17 beloved grandchildren with two more coming soon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Anthony “Tony” Pancamo.

Maddaline was a beloved pastor’s wife at Bridgewater Baptist Church in Chippewa Falls. She loved music and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a wonderful Nana to all 17 of her grandchildren. Her favorite bible verse was Psalm 34:1 “I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, January 5 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. Burial will be in the spring.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service Friday evening at the funeral chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
