Our dear wife, mother, and grandmother Marie A. Halfen, 68, passed away peacefully July 4, 2017 at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene and her father, DeWayne Isom; her sister, Kathy; and her brother-in-law, Brian Page.

She will be sorely missed by her loving husband, Terrence Halfen; children and grandchildren, Shilo and Famous Jefferson (Aidan, Viola, Zaria, and Zadia), Eric and Jamie Halfen (John and Alexandra), Holly Halfen (Adison), and DeWayne Halfen and his fiance Erica McEvoy; her sister, Mary Lou (Jerry) Daley; her dear sister-in-law, Diana Isom and family; brother, Jerry Isom; and many loving family and friends.

A special thanks to all the health care providers at HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital, HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital, and the Cancer Care Centers of both Marshfield Clinic of Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire, as well as the Willis-Knighton Clinic in Shreveport, LA.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 12 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. Interment will be at Bateman Cemetery, town of Lafayette, with a luncheon to follow.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday evening, July 11 and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
