Marion Hayes

She was born November 11, 1928 in Eau Claire to Esther (Hesse) and Leon Ducommun. She grew up in Lake Holcombe and graduated from Lake Holcombe High School in 1946, where she played the violin in the school orchestra.

Marion married Perry Hayes on November 21, 1948 in Holcombe. The couple has resided in Chippewa Falls since 1952.

Marion enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, crocheting, crafting and researching her family roots. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always had a meal on the table and something baking in the oven when the children came home from school.
