Marjorie Franzel

Marjorie A. Franzel, 80, of 222 Chapman Rd., Chippewa Falls, died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Chippewa Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation in Chippewa Falls after a long struggle with a debilitating neurological disease.

She was born February 14, 1930 in Ione, Oregon to Jesse and Ned Carr. She grew up and attended school in The Dalles, Oregon. After graduating she moved to Portland, Oregon to attend the Oregon Art Museum School. She continued to paint for the rest of her life.

Marjorie married Dale Franzel in 1950 in Portland. Dale preceded her in death in 1994.
