Marlene Veach

Marlene S. Veach, 72, of Chippewa Falls, entered eternal rest Monday, February. 21, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls due to complications of pneumonia compounded by a brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving daughter, Tammy and granddaughter, Jessica.

She was born August 14, 1938 in Chippewa Falls to Gladys (Kurtz) and Fredoline "Fred" Zweifel. She grew up in Chippewa Falls where she attended schools.

Marlene married Gerald Veach on February 27, 1960. They had two children and were later divorced. Marlene worked in house keeping and as a food server in the public school system for many years until her retirement.
