Obert Thomley

Obert P. Thomley, 91, formerly of 623 Macomber St. and the Romeis Apartments, Chippewa Falls, left this life on Monday, Nov.1, 2010 at Wissota Springs in Chippewa Falls to continue his eternal life with his Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.

He was born September 26, 1919 in Whitehall to Emma (Olson) and Julius Thomley. The family farmed in the Timber Creek area south of Osseo and then moved to that community in 1926.

He graduated from Lincoln Hill High School in Osseo in 1936. He was then employed at Eau Claire County Hospital and it was there that he met Agnes Petersen and they were married April 18, 1942 in LaCrosse. They shared 64 wonderful years together until she died Dec. 8, 2006.
