Patricia A. "Patty" Dandrea

On Christmas day our “Patty Cakes” Patricia Ann Dandrea passed away at Marshfield Hospital at the age of 70.

Patricia was born Feb. 8, 1953, in Superior, WI, to Floyd and Elaine (Bradley) Dandrea.

Patricia went to Cathedral grade and High School in Superior, WI.

Patty lived at Eagleton Adult Family Home; when it closed she went to live at Huber Adult Family Home where she became part of LeAnne and Bill’s family, and lived there with their children Jake, Laykin and Gavin. Patty also had many friends at Grace Adult Family Services, where she attended 2 days of the week. Patty participated in Friends of Jesus and made many special friends there as well, especially Sister Yvonne Hiess.

Patty loved singing her favorite song, “We all lived in a Yellow Submarine”. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, puzzles, coloring, and being on her favorite rocking chair on the front porch. She also loved going for car rides. But Patty’s biggest passion was Pizza, Spaghetti and Diet Coke. She also looked forward to having her family coming into town and taking her to Pizza Hut and Olson’s for ice cream and then to Irvine Park.

She will be missed dearly by all, especially her contagious smile she had.

Patty was faithful to the Lord and spoke often of St. Anthony’s church where she attended when she was young in Superior, WI. She continued following her faith at St. Bridget’s church in Seymour, WI.

Patricia is survived by her two brothers, James (Cindy) Dandrea, and Michael Dandrea; and two sisters, Kathleen Duffany, and Geraldine (Alex) Batta.

She was preceeded in death by her parents.

Patricia lived in the Chippewa area most of her adult life. The last twenty plus years was spent with the beautiful caring family of Bill and LeAnn Huber in Cadott WI.

We would like to thank Patty’s hospice team from Heartland, especially Sara, Mark, and Rhonda.

Patricia will be buried in Superior, WI, next to her loving parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 5, from 4-7 p.m. at the Fill-Inn Station, 104 W Columbia St, Chippewa Falls.
