Playter, Stephen

Steve is survived by his devoted wife, Marilyn "Jinx" Smith of Chippewa Falls; his children, Stephan (Joyce) Playter of Chippewa Falls and Grand Lake, Colorado; Anne (Doug Hayes) Playter and their sons, Andrew and Nicolas of Denver, Colorado; Sue (David) Playter-Mubarak and their daughters, Gabriella and Sabrina, of Tomah; Matt (Angie Tobisch) Playter of Chippewa Falls, Karen (Tom) Root of Milltown; Traci (Erik) Anderson and their family, Ky Anderson, Rees (Julie) Anderson and their children, Avery and Ansin, all of Chippewa Falls. He is further survived by his sister, Nancy (Bud) Manion of St. Clair Shores, Michigan; many friends, nieces, nephews and furry friends.

He was preceded in death by Sally Turner Playter, his wife of 57 years who died in 2004; and his brother, Lange Playter.

The family thanks the lovely, caring staff at Our House for becoming part of the Playter family and providing such wonderful care.
