Raymond E. Mower Jr.

Raymond E. Mower Jr., 68, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Country Terrace Assisted Living in Stanley.

He was born January 23, 1958, in Chippewa Falls to Raymond E. Sr. and Ardis (Rands) Mower.

Ray loved coffee, scratch off tickets, and helping others. In his younger years he was active in the Boy Scouts and enjoyed sharing those stories with family and friends.

Ray is survived by his siblings, Steven Mower of Chippewa Falls, John (Renee) Mower of Chippewa Falls, Jim (Lori) Mower of Altoona, Nancy (Jim) Buisman of Altoona, and Mary (Roger) Zakrzewicz of Chippewa Falls; nieces and nephews, Derek Mower, Kelsy Mower, Benjamin Raether (Jerrod Boos), Justin (Aileen) Mower, Joshua Raether (Scott Wiley), Shawna (Mikhail) Hoover, Rebecca Hoade, Andrew Zakrzewicz, Devin Buisman, and Jasmine Buisman; great-nieces and nephews, Joanna, Rowan, Maren, Abby and Shelby Mower, and Astrid Hoover; aunts, Dorothy Dudrey and Esther Rands; special love, Tidy; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; aunts and uncles, Arthur Mower, Marilyn Hanson, Lillian and Louis Hradnansky, Lloyd Rands; and brother-in-law, John Raether.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Chaplain Josh Paroubek officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Prairie View Cemetery in the village of Lake Hallie.
