Roberta "Bobbie" J. Berg

Roberta "Bobbie" Jean Berg, 94, of Chippewa Falls, passed away peacefully at Our House Memory Care with family by her side, on Friday, August 14, 2026.

On August 11, 1932, Bobbie, was born in Eau Claire, WI, to Robert and Evelyn (Holte) Englesby. She graduated from Eleva-Strum High School with the class of 1950. Bobbie was united in marriage to William Keith Berg on August 29, 1953, in Eleva, WI.

Bobbie was employed at Northern States Power Company before dedicating herself as the world’s greatest homemaker. Bobbie and Bill spent many a day in the stands watching their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren participate in sporting events. Bobbie enjoyed rosemaling, golf, bowling. knitting, quilting, sitting in the sun, traveling, winters in Florida and spending time with family and friends.

Bobbie was a longtime member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, the VFW 1038 Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her infant twins, Barbara and Barry; and by her parents, Bob and Evelyn.

Bobbie is survived by her siblings, Patty Runkel of Strum and Sonja Sylla of Blair; two sons, William (Julie) of Chippewa Falls and Daniel (Nancy) of South Haven, MN; grandchildren, Tina (Ryan) Parker and their children Madisyn, Easton and Addalyn of Eau Claire, Tyler of Chippewa Falls, Adam (Laura) and their children Everett and Beckett of Zimmerman, MN and Kelly (Polly) and their children Caitlin, Brianna and Harper of Annandale, MN.

The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1300 Mansfield St, Chippewa Falls, with a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Pastor Chad Anderson will be officiating. The interment will be in the Eleva Lutheran Cemetery.
