Sal was born May 3, 1948 in Chippewa Falls to Lloyd and Rosemary “Jane” (Cardinal) Fransway. She grew up in Chippewa Falls and graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1966. She drove school bus for LeDuc Bus Company and then attended CVTC where she earned her Ward Clerk certification.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Patty Sedani, Lloyd Fransway Jr., Tony Fransway, Laura Brown, Sam Fransway and infant sister, Mary Jo; nephew, Chad Brown; and nieces, Jeanne and Robin Fransway.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Friday, June 15 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls with Rev. Hal Schroetter officiating.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Sal was a favorite of many and her kindness and generous spirit will be greatly missed.

“She always had a smile on her face and knew what to say to brighten your day. People looked to her for guidance, a laugh, a story, and for her crafty skills. She was always down to play cards, go to the casino, or just hang out. She will forever be watching over her loved ones and keeping us safe. She will be missed by many people and will never be forgotten.” – Ali Chartrand
