Terry L. Battcher

Terry L. "Skip" Battcher, age 67 of Chippewa Falls, WI went home to the LORD on July 27, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System - Eau Claire, WI.

He was born July 26, 1958, in Amery, WI., a son to William and Annamae Battcher. Terry, along with his family resided in Almena, WI until the family moved to Chippewa Falls in 1968.

He Graduated from Chippewa Falls Senior High School. After high school, he had several odd jobs over the years. The last few years, he worked as a lawn keeper for Berean Bible Church in Chippewa Falls where he was a fellow member. Terry was also the care giver for a very close friend, Elaine Hewke.

He loved to fish and had the skill for fixing things. His love was his dog, Molly, who would be seen daily on walks around the downtown area.

Terry loved football and was a passionate Green Bay Packer fan. The family is requesting that everyone wear their Packer gear or the team’s colors, in honor of Terry.

Terry leaves behinds his daughter, Lisa Shuper (Everett); granddaughter, Toni Ann Shuper; brother, Lloyd Battcher; sisters, Shirley Czerniak, Margaret Archery, Beverly Bremness; and several nieces and nephews.

Terry Battcher was preceded in death by his parents, William and Annamae Battcher; brother, Gary Battcher; nephews, Buddy Warnecke & Darrin Bremness; brothers-in-law, Larry Czerniak and Darrell Bremness; and sisters-in-law, Maryanne Battcher and Lori Battcher.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Crossroads Baptist Church, 209 South Ave, Chippewa Falls, WI.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the church. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a light lunch at the church.

Interment and graveside service will be held after lunch at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
