Tyler M. Girard

Tyler Macey Girard, 39, of Chippewa Falls, earned his wings Thursday, February 5, 2026, surrounded by loved ones at Marshfield Hospital – EC, after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

He was born October 10, 1986, in Chippewa Falls to Terron and Ruth (Krall) Girard. He graduated from Chippewa Falls High School and took small engine repair courses through CVTC. He loved to tinker and fix things, oftentimes working out of his home to help friends and family with repairs. He loved to ride dirt bikes and snowmobiles. During the day he was a fixer of all things, in the evenings he could be found working his karaoke business, TNT Karaoke, with his sister, Tracey.

Over the years Tyler worked at various places throughout the Chippewa Valley, including Art’s Snowmobile and ATV in Bloomer, Blaeser Auto in Bloomer with Brady, and most recently Chippewa Valley Exteriors.

Tyler is survived by his mother, Ruth Girard of Chippewa Falls; father, Terron Girard of Cornell; grandmother, Lois (Metzenbauer) Krall of Seymour; his beloved children, Lydia Girard and Oakley Girard; bonus son, Gabe Sperry; siblings, Theresina (Scott) Schmidt of Chippewa Falls, Michelle Steele of Eau Claire, Trevor Girard of Jim Falls, Trudy (Travis) Kruger, of Eau Claire, Tracey Girard of Barron, and Troy (Jessica) Stoneberg of Altoona; his partner, Tammy Brill; four-legged companion, Piston; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Girard, Jerome Krall and Shirley (Toske) Dahl.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m., Friday, February 20 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. led by Rev. Mark Neumann.

Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
