Waldimer “Wally” Moucha, 92, of Chippewa Falls, WI, passed away on August 22, 2025, in Roseville, MN.
Wally was born on June 12, 1933, and grew up in the Cadott and Jim Falls area.
He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and the National Guard for 36 years, while also working at National Presto Industries. After retirement, he worked at the local nursery near Lake Wissota. His interests included gardening, hunting, fishing, canoeing, traveling to national parks, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also had a deep love for animals.
Faith was a cornerstone of Wally’s life. He was a longtime member of the English Lutheran Church of Bateman. He also dedicated himself to service and brotherhood as a member of the Masonic Temple.
Wally is survived by his children, Larry (Karen) Moucha and Gini Moucha; daughter-in-law, Debbie Moucha; and grandchildren, Nicholas (Kristine), Skyler (Britta), and Anya Moucha; as well as extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine (Polanski) Moucha; his parents, Frank and Ella Moucha; his brother, Gordan (Lois) Moucha; his son, Alan Moucha; and best friend, Betty Patzwald.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Pederson-Volker Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. Visitation will be from 12:00–1:00 p.m. prior to the service, with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a tree be planted in his honor.
