William Maddox

William G. Maddox, 84, of Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Wissota Health Transitions, Chippewa Falls.

He was born July 31, 1930 in McHenry, KY to Paradine (Oliver) and Arthur Maddox.

He served honorably in the U.S. Army.

On May 10, 1969, William married Elaine Kline. They resided in Chippewa Falls.

William worked as a long haul truck driver. He enjoyed seeing the country and was proud that he had visited every state. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughters, Kathy (Donald) Kuechler of Chippewa Falls, Nancy (Mike) Gesler of Barron, Terry (Chad) Godard of Arpin; sons, Michael and David Maddox; a sister, Betty; grandchildren, Tana, Sasha and Dustin Kuechler, Cody Gesler, Tyler and Chad Jr. Godard, and Hope Maddox.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Chuck, Paul, Harold, Jewel, Johnny and Glenn; and his wife, Elaine on February 27, 2015.

A private service will be held.
