William Manor

He was born May 9, 1929 in Dunn County to Gladys (Smith) and Ray Manor. He was raised in Eau Claire where he attended Eau Claire Public Schools and Eau Claire Technical School.

William married Vera Eddy on Feb. 10, 1951 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. They resided in Eau Claire where he was employed at White Machine Works/Gould National Battery until he retired in January 1985. After retirement he was employed at Gordy's Grocery/Hardware doing maintanence at both Lake Wissota and Chippewa Falls. Bill and Vera resided on Lake Wissota for 23 years and have resided at the Northgate Condominium Community in Eagle Point for the past seven years.
