Wilma Anderson

Wilma E. Anderson, 91, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Lake Hallie Memory Care.

Wilma was born on August 25, 1926 to Edwin and Violet Person in Eau Claire WI. She married Elger Anderson on January 12, 1946. Wilma was an avid sewer working at Herbergers and later working for Northwest Fabrics in Eau Claire for over 25 years. She enjoyed playing cards, square dancing, gardening, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family at their lake home on Chain Lake in New Auburn.

Wilma is survived by her husband of 72 years, Elger; daughters, Pam (Bob) Peterson of Wausau, WI and Janet White of Chippewa Falls; son, Terry (Patricia) Anderson of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Bradley (Tracey) Anderson, Ryan (Diana) Anderson, Anthony (Tracy) Peterson, Amy Peterson, Robert (Hilary) White, and Sarah (Michael) Dornik; great-grandchildren, Brooks, Bennett, and Logan Anderson, Grace Peterson, Brantley and Tristan White; one brother, Lester Person; brothers-in-law, Harold and Gerald Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marion Beaudin and Gladys Wollenberg; and brother, Donald Person.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church, 467 E Colome St, Chippewa Fall, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the Church. Rev. David Johnson will be officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview cemetery, Eau Claire.
