Wilma Jean Felmlee, 82, passed away to her heavenly home on March 4, 2012.

She was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on April 29, l929 to Les and Alice Martindale Pitsch. They lived on a dairy farm until Wilma was in her late teens. She met the love of her lifetime and married George Felmlee after he returned from World War II.  They had 2 children in their early married life, Cheryl and Dwight. Wilma and George loved to travel and visited most of the U.S.National Parks and great areas of the United States with their family in tow, camping , sightseeing, flying, hunting, and fishing. They moved from Wisconsin to Oregon, then onto Alaska in 1967, where they lived for many years. Then finally settling in Montana, where she resided until her death.

Wilma so loved her husband, George. They were married for 66 years, being constant and steadfast companions in all walks of life. Wilma's family came first in her life. She was a beautiful seamstress, sewing home decor, designing clothes for herself, her daughter and granddaughters. Even sewing shirts, coats and pants for the men in the family. She was quite fashionable and a  great bargain  hunter. She was always decked out in either purple, fuchsia or lime green, with jewelry and shoes to match. In the summers she tended a garden of vegetables and flower beds, always busy, but with a smile for everyone, especially the grandchildren and then great-grandchildren. Family visits were met with fabulous food from old recipes handed down from generations ago, but she was just as capable in the outdoors hunting game with her husband.  No one can replace Wilma. She had a strong constitution and a huge heart. Her Lutheran upbringing and faith in her Lord sustained her in this earthly home. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her loving husband, George; Son, Dwight Felmlee and spouse Peggy; Daughter, Cheryl Bass and spouse William Bass; Grandchildren, Forrest Felmlee, Dusty Felmlee, Colt Felmlee, Summer Bass Neuroth and Hunter Bass; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Les and Alice Pitsch; and brother, Ronald Pitsch, all of Wisconsin.
